What's Serena engaged in now?

 

My daughter is a huge Schweinsteiger fan. Not because of his play but because she thinks it's so much fun to say his name.

And it is.

 

As pretty a face as there is.

 

I'm a double Schweini fan because of his Mannschaft and Man U affiliations.

 

Plus, his name translates to "pig overseer." So he's Boss Hog!

 

I'm guessing Ana is a big fan of his Mannschaft too.

I wouldn't have argued with you last year, but then I saw Isabelle Forrer play for the Swiss beach volleyball team last Olympics.

 

First big result of the new year: Djoker crashes out of the Aussie Open. Loses to something called Denis Istomin, ranked No. 117 in the world.

 

I should have stayed up to watch. First set lasted 85 minutes.

Istomin is one of only two players on tour to wear glasses on the court.

 

When I read this, I wondered how he would play in the big events going forward.

Djokovic looked like he was about 80 percent physically. Don't know if he's actually injured or dealing with something but he sure looked like he couldn't move the way we're used to seeing him move.

That said, Istomin played exceptionally well.
