They hate education. They hate the enviorment. They hate labor. They hate housing. They hate civility.

I can't tell whether this is more intellectually dishonest than the "They don't wanna ever have to work and have someone else pay for everything" argument. It's pretty much too close to call ...

*shrug*. You can stick your head in the sand on this one if you want.

Public education is antithetical to their ideology. If people want their kids to go to school, they can allocate their resources as such and let the market decide.

Except for the fact that conservatives think the federal government should have no role in education policy, which, in their view, should be an entirely local matter. Not too much of a stretch to say they're not fans of education.
The more people are educated, the less likely they are to believe the earth is 10,000 years old.

Would it be better to say they don't mind public schools existing as long as they get rid of that whole separation of church and state nonsense?

After review, the ruling on the field stands. We don't have conclusive evidence of a gap in intellectual honesty between the two positions.

It's more trump bullshit. Abolish the D of Ed if you don't want fed involvement in education but trump is just picking winners, not the marketplace. Anything that gets him applause from people who he dreams worship his supreme blessedness.

Are we still waiting on details on how he's going to separate from his businesses so he can concentrate full time on the presidency?

Wonder if Samantha Bee will talk about public education and the benefits of diversity when she makes fun of the SecEd?
