Fifteen years ago, Houston mom Andrea Yates drowned her five children in a bathtub. I'm sure you remember the horrific case if not all of the details. Her husband, Russell Yates, said there was no warning whatsoever.

Today, in a completely unrelated case that also occurred in Houston, authorities tracked down a mother and the two daughters she took from their father in Rhode Island 31 years ago. The daughters will be reunited with their father ... Russell Yates.

Different guy. Still lives in Rhode Island.

    Mind. Blown.

There's got to be some way I can tie T.J. Yates into this.

I thought this was going to be about a bathtub and Whitney Houston.

Slouches towards Bethlehem to be born?

Are you sure this isn't ironic?

It would be ironic (perhaps) if, on their way to be reunited with their father, the car swerved off the road and landed in a lake . . . and the kids drowned.

    Still a Top 3 thread all-time IMO.

I saw Houston and Yates and thought this was about the school that holds the state record for most consecutive playoff seasons.
