This is a remarkably convenient version that ignores the reality of the time that the GOP had sworn a blood oath against any Obama-backed health plan and had become the Party of No the moment he was inaugurated.

You'd be surprised. Especially since "everyone knows" Putin rules with an iron fist.

He doesn't, and it's mostly because of the constitution that Yeltsin introduced in 1993. Putin complains to his closest aides that he only gets about one-third of the things done that he wants. That's not really such good news for America --- many of the people who oppose him are far more aggressive and bitch that Putin is too conciliatory toward the West. They even complain that he still calls America "our Western partners" instead of what most of then really think of the USA.

McConnell played that one perfectly to the max and continues to do so. I can't stand the guy, but in political terms, he hit a grand slam.

Here's my question. The only reason Carrier, ford, ect. Are attempting to stay in house is because of the incentives being offered right?. Where is all this money coming from for these incentives? Is this like the bailouts? Has anyone found any information as to HOW any of this is gonna happen?

It is a lot easier when you can lose by 2 and still win, but yeah he recognized he is immune to reprisal on that one

Nah. Much easier to win by SEVENTY-FOUR and still be able to say "Benghazi!" and "Emails!"

Ford made this decision months ago without reference to Trump at all. Carrier will first get its money from the taxpayers of Indiana, and eventually the other 49 states.
