Along the same lines of my Elvis opinion, I have never ever found a Marilyn Monroe the least bit attractive.

Most public schools are probably better now than 40 years ago.

Tim Tebow is pretty good on TV

This was actually a pretty common opinion through most of the Seventies until he died.

First one is provable if test scores mean anything. Second is an opinion with which I agree.
I will say this in addition. I have always liked Tebow. My worldview is not his for sure, but he strikes me as a Christian who strives to live without malice. I respect that to the max.

I'm kind of fascinated by Elvis the person -- I think he's the most American American ever -- but I have almost no interest in him as a performer.

I think Ben Stiller mostly stinks as an actor. I think Led Zeppelin mostly stinks.

    No homo?

I think she was total gas. Not as hot as Liz Hurley but still

The "hip" and "rock-snob" attitude toward Elvis through most of the Seventies was that he had pretty much always sucked. When he died, there was a revisionist rush to the idea that he had been awesome earlier in his career but had drifted into disgrace and dissolution through the decadence of his twilight years.

Which I suppose is the pretty widespread opinion now.

I can listen to very early Elvis, and of course Elvis Christmas tunes, but that's about it.

    It's the whole breathless-and-brainless thing, my anti-Viagra.

Love Elvis, but Jim Reeves had the best voice ever.

We need to hear from @Donnie in his element, since @ Walter Sobchak is no longer here.
