    Repeatedly missing deadlines is a specific performance issue for which you can be disciplined and/or fired, even in Guild shops.

    In fact, in Guild shops it's usually one of the very few specific actions which, if documented, can put you in firing jeopardy pretty quick.

    Just to be clear, that point drew many of the arguments that you seem to think were in opposition to your comparison. It is a far more subjective point, one that depends on how you define significant.

    At least we can all agree that being the head coach of an NFL team is more pressure-packed than being a copper.
