I won't disagree, although I'm not sure the Purdue job is as bad as it historically has been now that Morgan Burke is no longer the AD.

So all Indiana needs to do is hire Turner Gill for two years and then bring in Charlie Weis for the next three.

Then they'll be another basketball school back to irrelevance in football.

Purdue potentially could be a decent job: the B1G West is a relatively easier-looking division. Wisconsin is consistently good and Iowa and Nebraska are competitive. But a team that gets a little on the good side of decent could have itself a pretty good run -- as PU did for a while under Tiller.

Hey BYM, does Black Ron Zook get any nibbles anywhere?

Like the real Ron Zook, he's probably going to the Rose Bowl.

The only available job better than the one he has currently is Oregon. It would be a good fit but I don't see it happening.

I can't be the only one who gets an uneasy snake oil salesman vibe with PJ Fleck, am I?

By the way, ESPN reports Tommy Tuberville is stepping down at Cincinnati.
