Not to mention that reliever they left off the roster to get him in.

I think it was Pedro Gomez on KNBR this morning.
Seems guaranteed Chiacgo will win and very likely that Shwarber will hit series winning HR.

    That bearded sportswriter, Saraceno

I read with my AM cappuccino

    My head I did slap

    “That’s nothing but crap!

“I think he’s been hitting the vino!”

Schwarber is at this moment the all-time leader in post-season OPS, minimum 40 PAs

Ted Kluszewski of the CWS had a 1.266 OPS in his lone WS, 1959 vs. the Dodgers. Hit three homers, had 10 RBIs, with a .391 average, .440 OBP, .826 slugging, and did not strike out in 25 PAs. One of the all-time great WS performances.

For his career he had 492 walks and only 365 strikeouts in 6,469 PAs. One of the best players few today ever heard of.

Mark DeRosa is lively on MLB Network. He's got that thing that when he's talking you can't turn away.

He and A-Rod would make a fantastic pair to talk ball.

Schwarber not cleared to play OF, reports the WWL.

He tends to be the trivia answer on Reds radio broadcasts way more than you'd ever think.

    So ...

My dad's brother drove from Dallas in a Bluesmobile replica so he could propose to his girlfriend in front of Wrigley Field on the news. I never want to hear about anyone's "crazy uncle" again. The phrase is now retired.
