I found a box of my baby pictures in the attic. They're daguerreotypes.

Both my parents turned 60 this year, which seems unreal to me, their oldest child who was born when they were 19. I've always had the "young" parents and I guess compared to my peers I still do, but this is still a nervous, sobering milestone.

A year and a half or so from now when I turn 60 I will hope my daughter doesn't view it as a "nervous, sobering milestone."

That drum technique isn't going to have much of an impact with those gloves on.

My little brother turns 40 next week. Even though I'm just two years older, that blows my mind.

Yeesh. My (much) younger sister is 42. I remember in great detail the day she was born. You young whippersnappers.
