How do we justify them outplaying aTm, but being up only by seven at the half, if the refs are blindly making calls in their favor?

Uh, fallible young men who failed to execute in the Red Zone a couple of times?

You are responding to an imaginary post (Whitman, Dick: 2016).

Four posts on the previous page indicate officiating bias in favor of Alabama.

Yes ... on two plays. No one has been saying that officiating bias is why Alabama's leading. No one has been saying that officiating bias is why Alabama will likely win. Rather, they're saying that it was top-shelf bullshit that the kid from Alabama didn't draw a targeting penalty -- especially when the cats in Birmingham had a chance to look at it -- and the kid from A&M did.

That #narrative tho. Better turn on the secret high-powered magnets the Red Elephant Club paid to put in the goal posts.

Sorry Coco, but I agree with dixie here. Iowa was driving for the first time all day, try to cash in and convert for a TD. I give Iowa credit for playing them tough, but it seemed like the Badgers sure left some points on the field.

There's the unsportsmanlike conduct flag Alabama had the refs call on them to try and throw everybody off the scent.
