Gabbert is awful. He's still ten times the QB God is.

Yep, Gabbert is a much worse. 10-31 in games he has played.
    And a lower career rating.

For the love of Tebow, what the hell do you think Tebow's record be playing for the Jags and Niners.

It would be pretty stupid to say Tebow would be much better, about as asinine as saying Gabbert is 10X better than Tebow.

Tebow cannot make NFL throws. He'd be in the league if he could.

He was cut during the preseason the last two times he tried. So, no, he CAN'T be a backup or third QB. He couldn't even beat out Matt Barkley for a third-string job.

If Bill Belichick cannot find a use for a player, the player has no use.

You're right, he should have been given more opportunities to show what an accurate passer he was.

I'm sure if he had he'd be running the greatest show on turf II.

I was in early on the "Gabbert sucks" bandwagon. He put up pretty stats at Mizzou, but he never inspired confidence that he could win when it mattered. I lived in Jax when he was drafted, and I told anyone who would listen that he was going to be a terrible NFL quarterback.

Agreed, but I'm surprised. I think he could provide value as a short yardage QB specialist. Specifically, sign him and go for two in most situations. Hard to believe you'll be behind kicking it every time, especially with the new distance.
