We're about three weeks out from our annual Greek festival. This sounds like a capital plan.

Lots of great barrel-aged beers at one of our favorite semi-locals (Witch's Hat). Today was their annual festival raising funds for the local food bank. The couple in charge are very talented at what they do and are tremendous people to boot - zero pretension. They could go big-time if they wanted but are satisfied with their local niche. And I am grateful for that.

Pipeworks Lil Citra. Very good. Just about as good as Ninja vs Unicorn, which is my favorite Pipeworks.

    Shock Top Twisted Pretzel Wheat

A chick at a bar recommended this to me. So when I finally found it, I bought a whole case.

Shrug. Doesn't taste like a pretzel to me. And now I've got a whole fucking case of it.

Does this knock the socks off anyone else? I am starting to wonder whether I should ever listen to a female non-bartender's beer advice ever again.

Half Acre Akari Shogun. Half Acre pretty good, not as good as Pipeworks.
