Songbird has admitted to having experienced (and recovering from) a fair amount of recreational self-medicinal healing. So, I think his affinity for poofy cheesy products is fully understandable.

Nah, me and cheese puffs go back even further than the few brief highs I had.

Unless ... unless the cheese puffs were a gateway!

    That is out of control.
If you want to be offended, I guess I can see that, even if I think it's silly.
    But calling the police.

Also, based on pictures and description, seems to have occurred at teppanyaki restaurant, not hibachi.

Very strange phenomenon, especially in a town the size of Vegas.
And the small California town in which I work treats the opening of a new chain restaurant like a presidential visit.

Actually just posted this to the Reuben thread. It's not a "fake" sandwich. It's just not a traditional Jewish Deli sandwich. He's right, they would never have had a sandwich with dairy and meat back in the day. Not Kosher.

In the movie Quiz Show, the Rob Morrow character says that the Reuben is the only "truly invented" sandwich -- something about it having won a national sandwich contest. My google search came up with a bunch of other stories purporting to tell the origin, so who knows? But wherever it came from, it was invented sometime in the last century, and it's unlikely it was a product of a Jewish deli.

Yep. They don't have a lobster roll, either.

Reubens rule. I've had them at Katz's and at Carnegie. Won't have one at Subway
