For a crime they can't prove was committed.

People in their 20s just die in police vans all the time for no reason. It happens.

So Baltimore taxpayers paid out $6.4 million for a crime that didn't happen.

Six gangsters didn't see nothin' in a drive-by. No conviction. Miscarriage of justice and proof that the system doesn't work.

Six cops didn't see nothin' in the death, in a police van, of a man who wasn't under suspicion for anything when police first accosted him. No conviction. Proof that no crime was committed and the system works.

Yet those same cops will bitch when there's a murder in their neighborhood and, "no one sees anything."

Has there been an epidemic of people in their 20s dying in police vans that escaped everyone?

No, but these things happen, and no one can explain why. It's just destiny.

Sticking together is what good waffles public sector union members do.

Fortunately, this will lead to legislation where police vans must be equipped with signs stating: "Banging your head on walls in an attempt to win a police brutality lawsuit can lead to serious injury and even death."

The sign maker lobby used its political influence yet again.
