I'm worried that nobody's speech will top Michelle's.

    Even her husband's.

All he does these days is inflect his way through speeches. No passion.

That's very good. PS: I have read somewhere that Obama's speech will be aimed at undecided voters, a task where passion is inappropriate.

    It isn't either/or?

What country do you live in?

You have two choices. Any third-party nonsense is just that. Which one's positions is closer to conservative values? Which is more likely to work with conservatives in Congress -- or be swayed by them -- to enact legislation that reflects conservative values? Which is more likely to move far to the left?

And most of all, to echo Bernie Sanders, think about who will be named to the Supreme Court and who will be naming that justice. If you're a conservative, would you rather have Hillary or Trump doing that?

Is Trump the conservatives' first choice? Of course not. But you can certainly vote for Trump and still be a conservative, just as surely as you can vote for Hillary and still be a socialist.

Well, it's hard to passionately deliver the same speech over and over after the latest loony toon with an AR-15 mows down 30 people. What more is there to add?

Trump's week-long enthusiastic call for a police state seems at odds with expressed conservative values about freedom.
