That was the first Raw I watched beginning to end in a long damn time, too.

Smackdown -- I refuse to call it SD "Live" -- has to follow that. Good luck.

It's like they turned over the booking to the internet wrestling community for a night. I haven't seen enough of Balor to have an opinion one way or the other about him, but I'd definitely rather see Balor-Rollins than Reigns-Rollins.

If you have the Network, check out his match against Shinsuke Nakamura on NXT a couple weeks ago. Methodical and original in his approach vs. so many of his NXT matches prior. The best I've ever seen him.

The only other match of his I've seen was when he won the NXT title from Kevin Owens on the Japan Network special. I was unimpressed (a lot of his offense looks like variations of the same two-footed dropkick, which was really noticeable against a guy who mixes it up as much as Owens does), but I'm willing to give him a chance.

Looking over the women's match again, that dive Sasha made through the ropes was SICK with how she fell. Amazing she didn't bust her neck like that

And then Charlotte's moonsault from the top rope? When was the last time the women on the main roster got a "Holy Shit!" chant?

Holy shit what a women's match. That mightve been better than the Brooklyn match, and it probably would've been if it had the same hot crowd. That was Wrestlemania caliber stuff.

And Finn Balor.....wow. Setting aside the ridiculous interview with Reigns afterwards (they clearly don't get it, he's never going to be over as a face, ever), they really couldn't have debuted Balor any stronger. I was hoping they could paint him in 2 hours after the first 4way but whatever. That was amazing.

Trips must have the biggest shit eating grin right now. I think one segment on the entire show didn't have someone that was in nxt 6 months ago and it was the best show in months/years.

Yeah, that name was dumb. They were trying to keep a championship even though they broke up with the NWA. Nobody ever really cared about it.

Finn Balor's finisher must be devastating. I mean, Roman's wearing a 4-inch thick bomb squad vest over his heart.

Balor's finisher could kill any Superstar not wearing protective gear and should therefore be BANNED!

And that's a work shoot, bro.

It sure looks like a move that has disaster written all over it. A 190-pound man jumping from a height of five feet and landing on the other guy with all the weight landing on one part of the other guy. One little slip-up, and he lands on the opponent's head, or sprains his own ankles.

I also noticed he did a version of the curb stomp to the back off the top. Gave me pause for a second.

OK. The Smackdown women's division is awful. That whole segment just now ... what the fuck was that? A voiceover talking about Eva Marie? My gosh, that was was terrible.
