    Great list, Della. Tony Mullane is one of my favorite stories and not just because he was born in County Cork. He was ambidextrous, pitching both right- and left-handed, and he was suspended for the '85 season because he signed with the Reds in violation of the reserve clause. He had won at least 30 games in each of the previous three seasons and had 30 wins in '86 and '87, his first two seasons with Cincinnati. That lost season undoubtedly kept him from reaching 300 career wins.

    Sale suspended 5 days. His next turn in the rotation would be Thursday against the Cubs which is when he's eligible to return.
