Police officers have violent tendencies and blacks are justifiably afraid.

 

Those are magic words, an automatic get-out-of-legal-trouble. You can't *prove* he didn't feel that, and as long as he did, he was legally justified.

And that's all that matters: Getting their friend out of trouble. This shit needs to be fixed at a much higher level.

Meanwhile, one of his higher ups is suspended without pay for giving conflicting statements.
