It's either that, or admit he made five mistakes by walking batters. The way he's pitching, I don't think that's possible.

I want to note for the record that Robin Ventura bunted his No. 3 hitter yesterday, May 30, 2016, and still has a job today.

In what may be the worst-ever at bat for an umpire, Will Little calls Jeremy Hazelbaker's drive down the line a fair ball and a home run. Brewers appeal and replay shows the ball was clearly foul. Couple pitches later, Hazelbaker hits one to shortstop and is called out. Replay shows he was safe. So Little gets overturned by replay twice on one at bat.

Brett Eibner, Alex Gordon's replacement was carted off with an ankle injury tonight. At the rate players are going down in Kansas City guys in Wilmington must be getting pumped for their inevitable big league call up next month.

Mike Scioscia bunted a guy over in the first inning of a Jared Weaver start this year.

Lets make sure everybody understands this: Mike Scioscia was playing for one run in a Jared Weaver start this year.

Valid point, even though the bunter was Rafael Ortega, who can't get around on a fastball.
On the other hand, there was last night, when the Angels blew a 9-2 lead and won with a walkoff HR by Cron in the ninth. That was the Angels' fourth HR of the game and second for Cron. Oh, by the way, the Tigers hit five HRs. At one point, the Tigers had 8 runs and 6 hits. Angels pitchers walked the 6, 8 and 9 batters in the seventh ahead of Kinsler's grand slam over the short fence down the left-field line.
Another odd note, one of the homers to center field was measured by whatever contraption they use as 391 feet. It went over the fence at the 396-foot sign.

What you guys need to do is get a manager whose stupid decisions all work out. #Yosted
