My kid's Boy Scout troop is going around to different cemetaries today and placing American flags on veterans' graves for Memorial Day.

It's a total a waste of money on flags, which only get faded and torn because they're just sitting out there in the elements for a year, and a waste of time in going around to different graves for dead people that none of the group had ever met. And heaven forbid that they feel good about honoring people who had died before they were even born.

Actually, it was tony I patted on the back for it. Unlike you, I was able to look past what I think of the poster and evaluate the idea on its merits, so I spent a few minutes liking a few posts.
