Accusations don't count if they occur during a bitter divorce. From a Republican presidential nominee. [/YankeeFan]

A big part of it is the visual or audio to accompany something. Like Gibson with his anti Semitic rant and Kramer saying the n-word and ray rice with the video. the Greg hardy story went to new heights with the release of the photos of the battered gf.

Well Quant your skepticism seems justified. Still possible the injury really did come from a phone to the face just maybe some over zealous hitting.

You weren't being overly skeptical. Just because so few SJ.com posters are willing to question accusations made against somebody famous doesn't mean you weren't right to do so.

Maybe he turns out to be guilty, but the skepticism was still warranted.

In his debut, Urias the 19-year-old threw 35 pitches and gave up 3 runs in bottom-1 at Not Shea. Has nice stuff, got pinched a bit. He's got a future. He's built like an ox. Threw only 16 pitches in the second.

I find the Woody Allen thing kind of fascinating. People are strangely eager to believe the absolute worst in someone, based on very little.

I mean, the Soon-Yi thing is weird... but she wasn't his daughter. According to Woody's biographer, Woody and Soon-Yi's relationship started when Mia encouraged them to spend time together because they had no relationship at all. Woody and Mia never even lived together.

And his biological daughter? The story behind that one is shaky at best, and the accusation came literally days after Woody told Mia about his relationship with Soon-Yi. It doesn't help the case that Mia is carnival freak show crazy. So... I dunno. I'll trust almost literally anyone over Mia Farrow.

Roman Polanski, on the other hand, can get bent.

Did Depp smack him around, too?

That whole family is crazy as hell. Ronan, who was raised as Woody's kid, is quite obviously the son of Frank Sinatra. Dead ringer for him.

This will end his career, like the Winona State scandal was the biggest scandal to hit NCAA athletics.
