Actually, I take that back. It was pretty damn funny when he walloped warren in volleyball and said "exceptional my ass."

Dillon was nominated for an Oscar (Crash) and won an Independent Spirit Awards (Drugstore Cowboys).

Well, Crash sucked balls and nobody associated with it should receive any praise or recognition. The Oscar nomination was for Appearing in An Important Movie.

I don't know if I'd say 'Crash' sucked, but it certainly was underwhelming. I never thought it merited the acclaim it received.
I'm just pointing out that he received an Oscar nomination and won an Independent Spirit Award.

'Drugstore Cowboys' was one of my favorite movies back in the day. I have not seen it in a long, long time.
I'd like to watch it to see how it has held up and to measure it against my older taste.

Crash got the acclaim it did because it was 2 hours of Hollywood navel-gazing.

Drugstore Cowboy is a great flick, featuring a very young Heather Graham.

I once cooked a meal for Matt Dillon, so he gets my vote.

Matt Dillon gets my vote for "Singles" alone.

And yes, "Wild Things" doesn't hurt, either.

  9. I'll take Johnny Drama over them both.

Lowe is on probably my favorite network sitcom right now, The Grinder, although it does rely heavily on meta performances from him and Fred Savage about how television works.

I thought this was yet another thread about not living up to potential.

Lowe went to my high school and ... Demi Moore in About Last Night.
