The sensible American voter has ended up as the last person in the buffet line, with only a couple moldy shit sandwiches to choose from. I would take a bullet before ever even considering for a second pulling the lever for Il Douché, and would front up for a swift kick in the balls with steel-toed cowboy boots before punching the button for The First Criminal.

Unless a viable third-party candidate pops up out of the ether, I'll be skipping the presidential vote and doing my best to shore up the opposition to whichever pus-oozing hemorrhoid is atop the polls.

I am damn tired of having to vote for the least shitty candidate for POTUS. Trump vs. Clinton should be the end of the two-party system. But I t won't be. Damn it.

Why would anyone want to be a politician?

And if someone does, what is their motivation?

Can I get examples of these mythical awesome candidates that everyone will love and respect?

You do have to admit these are the 2006 Cardinals of presidential nominees.

    Fuck, I know.

With the coverage now we see it all, 24/7.

I'm just sick of it, both sides.

    It's always been this way.

    "Ma, Ma where's my Pa?"

    How did JFK win Illinois?

    But I'll still vote.

It's just generic lazy cynicism with no depth or meaning behind it. "Har, har, everyone in power sucks."

Clinton isn't a superstar at this level, but she belongs at this level. Obama was a superstar. McCain and Romney belonged there.

The only people who absolutely did not belong who I've seen on the ticket in my lifetime before Trump were Stockdale and Palin. It isn't something we run out four of every year.

Dan Quayle wasn't exactly ready for prime time either.
