    In the link wicked posted, they note Goodwill being Kmart's primary competition, and that in 2010, libraries were renting more DVDs than Blockbuster, Netflix, and Redbox combined.

    The newspaper example would be shoppers and alternative weeklies having way more ads than the local, paid subscription daily paper. Or an online classified ad service (craigslist) which solicits prostitutes, drug deals and hit men absolutely dismantling the newspaper classified section.
