Kris Kristofferson was also a Rhodes Scholar, so I think he would have landed on his feet no matter what.

I'm starting to wish I was still at Esquire so I could pitch a Kris Kristofferson profile.

Seriously, he should be the guy starring in the Dos Equis commercials.

Kristofferson is a pretty incredible guy, and he may have done well in life without the helicopter stunt, but he may have never become a successful songwriter, which was his goal.

    And Kris Kristofferson

I've been thinking this board has been going down in quality for some time, but I have a renewed enthusiasm about our new crowdsourced Kris Kristofferson profile project.

It's giving me a sense of purpose that I thought I had lost.

And Mac Davis, back when you could be a singer (of sorts) and work in film, too.

I was wondering if he was confusing Kristofferson and Mac Davis, or if it was a joke that flew right by me. I am still not sure.

    Mac Davis ya mean?

Never said Kristofferson was a saint, just that he's interesting as hell. But yeah, no excuse for hitting a woman, drunk or not.
