Which just goes to prove my point that 1 arm Def > 2 arm Def

    Love both albums.

CCR had a grand slam: Bayou Country, Green River, Willy and the Poor Boys, Cosmo's Factory.

All were Top 10 albums, and the first three were released in the same year.

Metallica with Master of Puppets and ...And Justice for All.

Or, really, any combination of their first four albums would fit the bill.

Hard to argue with The Stones picks already mentioned.

    Will add these:

Pixies - Surfer Rosa and Doolittle
Dr Dre - Chronic and 2001 (even if it was 7 years between albums)

    Neil Young:

    Everybody Knows This is Nowhere
    After the Gold Rush
    Harvest

With Deja Vu with CSN mixed between the first two.

Yeah, that surprised me too. I think there's a good case for The Unforgettable Fire/The Joshua Tree, but for me, Rattle & Hum may be the weak spot in the catalog.

I don't even think U2 likes that album.

Surprised The Doors/Strange Days hasn't been mentioned.

Would also throw in Cream: Disraeli Gears/Wheels of Fire, Santana/Abraxas, Yes: Fragile/Close to the Edge, Allman Brothers Band/Idlewild South/Live at Fillmore East, Jethro Tull: Stand Up/Benefit/Aqualung (although I'm not as big a fan of Aqualung as I am their two previous records).
