Rusty Kuntz will display in the board. Rusty Cunts will not.

    Oh, I guess it will.

WTF? Do they not have any editors who read this POS the first time around and might have figured that out?

I wrote a National Signing Day column a couple of years ago, and later discovered I had written one with a similar theme - but different approach - maybe three years before. I'd forgotten the first one, I guess, but I'd also evolved my thinking some on the topic. It happens.

That doesn't appear to be what happened here. It's the same anecdotes.

You're right, I didn't finish my thought there. | My phone rang.

Some context: Judge is actually the editorial cartoonist. For the past few seasons he's written this "inside the lines" baseball column, which I typically enjoy, but the writing is first person, unrefined and homerish. That's the point, of course... the perspective of the type of fan who still fills out the scorecard.

If this guy filed this story as a new column, how serious of an offense do we think this is?

Slap on the wrist? Suspension? Just eye rolling?

My first reaction is this is pretty bad. Fraudulent.

As bad a repeated story is, I swear to God some papers are re-running freaking photo galleries of "best movies" "old photos of local town" "people who died"

It takes a lot to get to firing. It's certainly suspension-worthy.

"Guys, guys, I'm really sorry about this. I didn't mean to reuse this column. I hope my contrition is apparent. Now, moving on, let me tell you why Bryce Harper deserves to be choked...."
