You also said you can do the same breast cancer exams that doctors do.

Where's it say they do this as part of a breast cancer screening?

Their own site describes a breast exam, and then talks about the next step being a referral for a mammogram:

Asked and answered many times. Yes, they do. You just don't want to admit as much.

No. I said I could give a breast exam, which is what PP does.

Doctors don't do the breast exams at PP btw.

No, but I'm pointing out that they do more than just abortions and breast cancer screenings.

    A "health care provider".

You think every health care provider is a Doctor?

Have you ever been to a doctor's office? The doctor doesn't do the simple stuff.

Good lord Baron. Sure, a doctor might do it as part of an appointment, but you just proved my point again: doctors and nurses offer clinical breast exams at Planned Parenthood health centers nationwide.

You don't need to be a doctor to perform a breast exam.

Komen makes the point as well:

A clinical breast exam (CBE) is a physical exam done by a health care provider as part of your regular medical check-up.

A CBE should be performed by a health care provider well trained in the technique (this may be a physician, nurse practitioner or other medical staff). Not all providers have this training.

The point stands. You think you have the same qualifications as a doctor, a nurse, a nurse practitioner or anyone else with medical training.

And I would think that, while the nurse may do the initial exam, a doctor has to sign off on it by doing his own exam after the nurse. The same as when I go to the dentist. The hygenist cleans my teeth, takes a note of any cavities, then tells the dentist, who looks them over himself. They're both doing examinations.
