  6. I have some new-found respect for Favre ...

The St. Louis Rams failed to properly follow the protocol in dealing with quarterback Case Keenum's concussion last week, but apparently the league is not willing to take any disciplinary action.

NFL and union may be headed toward a clash over handling of Case Keenum’s concussion

Keenum clearly showed signs of a concussion, struggling to get back to his feet even with the help of teammates after his head hit the ground hard. The trainer even spoke with him, but he was allowed to return to the game without missing a play even though he had suffered a concussion that will keep him out this week.

Once again, the league is failing miserably to protect the players and it seems like nobody cares.

I'm generally a Tomlin fan, but that fake FG call on 4th-and-2? It's 2 yards! Just play it normally.

Landry Jones certainly made a terrible decision on the throw, but that one is on Tomlin. Your offense is moving the ball. The defense is bending, but not breaking. Take the damn field goal or run a play with your offense. Don't do something stupid to give the Seahawks momentum.

Then the secondary has an ugly breakdown to turn that into a touchdown. And thanks to a coaching fuck up, the Steelers trail despite a strong start.
