I don't think that it is political correctness that a candidate for President of the United States not be bigoted in public, that he not lie to the camera and then either deny that the fact checkers are right or deny that he said it in the first place. My problems with Trump are much more substantive than his not being PC or being an asshole. Even if he *is* a bloated, inflamed, hairy, hemorrhoidal asshole.

Maybe he was making fun of Scott Steiner?

Wonder if Trump made the hand gesture because he thought he was mocking a gay man? Not much upside to bashing the handicapped, even among Trump true believers, but attacking teh gays still sells in some quarters.

And yet the side screeching the loudest against "political correctness" are the people now acting all horrified when their fascist frontman is described as a liar, a bigot, a bully, a crook, a grifter, a high-volume drug user, a closet queen and an unrepentant aficionado of incest. Oh dear, did we hurt your little fee-fees? Profane your virgin ears?

I love that Trump's statement brags about the size of the crowd at his rally, compliments himself for having "one of the all-time great memories" and contains a strange attack on the New York Times.

Being anti-"political correctness" is just code for not wanting to exhibit even the most basic human decency.

First they came for the black jokes, and because I was not black, I said nothing.

Then they came for the feminazi jokes, and because I was not a feminazi, I said nothing.

Then they came for the gay jokes, and because I was not gay, I said nothing.

Then they came for the cripple jokes, and because I was not crippled, I said nothing.

Then they came for the suburban white guy jokes ... and there was no one left to speak for me.

I love how Trump always answers his critics by saying they're in decline. SAD!

This is simply not true. I don't know a soul who "fears" the Confederate flag. That's absurd. And anyone who doesn't fear ISIS is an idiot.
