The SEC did that too. They had 10 teams, but only played 6 conference games for most of the 70s and 80s. There were whole decades where Alabama never played Georgia, and Auburn never played LSU.

That was quite amazing to see that this summer.

He hasn't been as big a flop as Jeremy Johnson, who was also in Vegas' preseason Heisman Top 10.

So, between this and his drunken douchery Cutty Sarkesian's seat has to be rather hot right now, right?

I had no idea they played last night and I was like, WTF is Reacher on his high horse for?

Before last night he was 15-1 TD/INT with 1,300 yards thru 4 games.

How the fuck do you lose to Warshington? And score just 12 in the process?

Instant Karma. For those seniors and upperclassmen Sark left after 2013, this was bigger than any game on their schedule.
Lots of coaches leave for greener pastures. Fewer must face their old schools. Fewer still face off against a roster of players they recruited (How many other coaches recently, save for Tommy Tuberville, made an intra-conference move?). Huskies cashed in on their rare chance.
Their old coach is not a good coach. That helps.

Todd Graham jumped from Rice to Tulsa when both were in Conference USA, but those are about the only ones I can think of in recent years.

By the time Saban got to Alabama, there were a handful of players he recruited still at LSU (including Glenn Dorsey, Matt Flynn and Jacob Hester), but he obviously had the two NFL years in between.

Houston Nutt from Arkansas to Ole Miss, albeit under duress.
