I am not arguing for gangs. I am asking if anyone actually had some info on the "reports" from the police yesterday. I just assume the worst when it comes to the Baltimore Police.

Sad as it is to say, this may finally inspire me to watch it... :D

I know law enforcement who have hits out on them in Baltimore.

I know reporters who were beat up. Who had guns pointed at them.

I appreciate all the armchair punditry going on here. Some of it is right, some of it is people showing their ignorant asses.

A lot of generalization and one size fits all, black and white simplistic world shit going on here, and in other places.

Yes, they did because of the weather.

Montreal played Florida in, I think, US Cellular in Chicago for one game because they had some structural problem with Olympic Stadium.

VERY IMPORTANT TO PLAY A BASEBALL GAME WHILE THE CITY IS BURNING. KIND OF LIKE THE MUNICH OLYMPICS. WHERE'S AVERY BRUNDAGE?

We can't hear you. Some ass is shouting in the background.

I think it would have been pretty easy and very cool to play the games in Fredrick, Bowie, and Aberdeen, but they would have had to act quickly. Which, of course, they did not.

It wouldn't have been ideal, of course, but so what? Better than playing in front of nobody in Baltimore and Tampa.

Yeah but those stadiums are dumps, and the fields are not up to major league standards. Not even close.

Even if the ballparks were up to MLB standards (they're not even close), they're not going to outfit a minor league park with replay technology overnight.

Honestly, I completely forgot about replay. That's why they couldn't do it.

Ripken's stadium up in Aberdeen is supposed to be pretty nice, right?
