She covered the Stanford-Cal game (which kicked off 30 minutes after FSU-BC) on Saturday, so my guess is she was sitting in the press box when she fired off the offending tweet.

lot of people are offended when accused of a crime they were never even charged of. would think that would be obvious

A lot of columnists believe they have an ear for humor- and so clearly do not.

    She accused one person.

Unless you're Jameis Winston, you're telling me you are actually offended?

Are you offended when Bill Cosby is called a rapist?

And, if Winston thinks he was libeled, he has legal recourses available to him.

not Winston. Still offended, as are others not Winston. Most people think that tweet is offensive and unprofessional but it's OK you don't

I missed her Cosby tweet, got a screenshot?

Let's agree that it was unprofessional. Fine.

    Offensive? Really? Why?

Would it be offensive if Hannibal Buress referred to him as a rapist?

Why are we concerned about Winston's reputation? Is there evidence that he is concerned about his reputation? His actions don't make it appear to be so.

Is it really out of line to call him a rapist? He is a rapist, isn't he?

Duke lax team were idiots. If you hire strippers, use some references so you know who you are dealing with. You do NOT simply let your fingers do the walking through the yellow pages.

In the eyes of the law, no, he is not a rapist. Scumbag? Asshole? Pervert? If that's what you've decided, then sure. But rape is a legal term, and to label somebody a rapist who has not been convicted of rape by a court of law is factually incorrect.

How much of the Winston story is even in question?

I'm ok calling him a rapist.

I'm ok calling Kobe a rapist.

    Cosby is a rapist.

    OJ is a murderer.

    WJC is...

I'm not a working journalist. I don't have to be objective. And, this is not a court of law.

And, I'm sorry if Winston is offended by the characterization, or if FSU fanbois can't handle it.

Rape is a term that only has a legal definition?

    Is OJ a murderer?

When the Miami Dolphins were trying to rally back, I tweeted, "C'mon, Dolphins, Beat the UT Sex Offender"
