From a PR standpoint, he's done a great job with his image since getting left off the team. Whoever his handlers are, they are very good.

For me, Reyna just didn't stay healthy enough during the EPL/MLS part of his career. He was a great talent and I have him in the the top 3 UNMNT field players of all time (with Landon and Ramos), but I think that Landon was better and had more special moments.

I don't think that Landon became the player in terms of playing at the highest levels, but that horse has been beaten to death.

The Football Weekly podcast is back and just popped up on my iTunes, so life is good.

Reyna’s injury spells occurred but they weren’t that much of a detriment until his career was winding down. Additionally, look at his ability to play just about any position and play it well. Rangers had him playing as a right back during Champions League games and then in midfield during SPL games. Can you picture Donovan playing as a fullback? Reyna played everywhere in the midfield and was a rock for quite a few teams. Donovan drifts in and out of games and then completely disappears if he gets hit a little too hard for his liking.

I’m just not sure how I feel about this…

Yedlin needs games. If he doesn't crack the lineup, I'm sure Spurs will lend him out.

Player scores 21 goals in a 30-0 win in the Swedish seventh division. Opponents withdraw from the league after the game.

Word is he's expected to be loaned back to the Sounders for the next year. He'll get more games, and he'll have a much better shot at a work permit in a year.

I'd rather he get games in a Euro league.

In other news, Pulis is out at Palace already.

That was fast. Palace had built a pretty strong club to stay up in the Premiership, and I guess Pulis didn't want to be part of a Parish fire sale. Can't blame him.

I'm sure that most have seen it, but the second Ted Lasso video is great.
