Might be a gender gap there. I have never seen a woman online whom I would describe as "too confident" or even exceedingly confident.

I've got another date this coming weekend. I'm a little bit more excited about this one, so that might be a good sign.

 

I've been on four first dates now since the divorce. Not one has been interesting enough for me to want to go on a second. Another one coming up Monday, we'll see. Kinda hopeful about this one but I also am not getting great signs about her interest.

I've got a kidless weekend coming up and I hate to waste it.

Perhaps not how I'd put it, but I have to agree with Vombatus. Too hot to bother? Is it really that much effort? It's not like you have to walk up to them in a bar. Just indicate your interest on the site (however that site works). At worst, a woman you thought would say no says no.

Regarding the height thing, I don't get that, but it's easy for me to say because I'm 6-foot-2. I haven't met many women my height or taller than me, but I've always liked the tall ones. (Mrs. OOP is 5-9).

I say give the tall ones a chance, too.
