As I understand it, the expanded play-in was to limit arguments about the at-larges. This is has done. Not eliminate, just reduce. I have no problem with it.

Yeah, I'm sure it's a dream come true to win your league tournament so you can go play Cal Poly in Dayton. All so Coach K's buddies can stay employed.

It's an utter crock of shit.

What an absolute epic gag job by N.C. State.

Two losses in my pool -- both by the overtime gaggers.

Meanwhile -- great shot by North Dakota State. Seriously, today and Friday are the two best sports days of the year.

I also like the Saturday and Sunday of the divisional round of the NFL playoffs.

It's funny. The older I get, the more I enjoy the later rounds of the tournament, when the stakes get higher and higher. But, on the other hand, you can't beat all-day hoops like this.

And I get one of the overtime games.

    Nicely done, North Dakota Sate.

Divisional weekend is great, yes. But these little guys getting their shots and pulling it off -- love it.

The Bison certainly played more than their heads tonight.
