    He surfaced in the University Park area of Dallas between 1979-83. Five victims.

    (Six, counting one in Lubbock.)

    I'm pretty sure even at the time some of the letters were figured to be hoaxes. I don't think you can argue that there was a string of horrific murders, somebody had to do it.

    I've always been interested in this story. I would buy this conclusion more than any other I've read about in books or magazines I've read.
