The Cubs sign on St. Louis brewed Bud as their “exclusive marketing partner” for beer and malt beverages:

A lot of St. Louis folks have switched to Schlafly since InBev bought Budweiser. This might cause a few more to jump.

That's just not right. Having lived in that area for a time nearly 25 years ago, I still associate Old Style with Chicago and the Cubs.

Yeah, they both suck, but Bud is so strongly identified with the Cubs biggest rival.

Old Style has also been a very long time sponsor of the Cubs.

True. But Bud's been prominently advertised in the park since the mid-80s at least.

In the park? Or, just on the house across the street?

Yeah, in the park too. There was a Bud sign on the bottom of the scoreboard for years before they replaced it with the video ribbon board.

And the bleachers have been branded the "Bud Light Bleachers" for 4-5 years or so.

Who the heck is still making Old Style? G. Heileman Brewing closed in La Crosse years ago.

Cubs fans are the ONLY ones who drink Old Style. It's weird.
