Much kudos to copperpot and Amy for making this game possible, if I'm the black sheep of the board :)

If someone blows a Friday deadline when the questions are given on a Monday, they should be DQ'd for the week. I fully support whatever rules copperpot and Amy want to enforce (as long as one of the rules isn't the bottom 1% of finishers are eliminated from competition next summer)

How the hell did I get a perfect score?

I'm not big on speeches, so I'll just say thanks.

You could always penalize someone, say, 50 or 100 points for blowing deadline.

But CP puts in the work, and it takes time and effort. So her rules are fine by me.

cp has her own life, with responsibilities. If she blocks out an hour on Saturday morning to do this as soon as she wakes up, then she shouldn't have to recalculate everything because someone decided their schedule was more important than hers.

Besides, answers began being posted here within 8 hours of the close of submissions. So do you let someone submit after answers have been posted? Seems like her way is the best way.

I blew the deadline, and remembered around 5 a.m. on Saturday morning when I was jolted out of a sound sleep. Sucks to be me.

Thanks to our shepherds. They do a great job.

You can't compare perfect weeks, because of the randomness of responses. One week there could be a bunch of 25 point answers and another week 12 and 8 could be top answers.

I don't know Here Me Roar's excuse, but I thought this question referred to preferred first names for boys. I'm a moron
