If I have an online venture looking to spend about $2,000 per camera, what is the best "prosumer" video camera for shooting video that will mostly be viewed online?

    Thanks in advance.

I shoot on a Panasonic. It is lightweight/does broadcast quality/fast AF. Perfect for web stuff.

Here is an example of it in action from last night.

They have several CCD models that are in that price range that should do what you need.

I don't go into locker rooms any more, but I used to prefer whichever camera wasn't whacking me in the head because I got there first.

Honestly for online video you don't need a top notch camera like the guys for TV have. There are countless options that would do perfectly fine for under $2000.
