What do you do that's childish?

Love that show... I actually use it as a negotiation tool with my kids. If they want to watch cartoons and I have to be in the room, I'll say, "Ok, as long as it's Phineas and Ferb."

 

Guilty here as well, except it's football cards...

 

There's this book I'm reading called "The End of Men," based on an Atlantic story that got a lot of play last year, that essentially argues this (at least in certain contexts). Now that there are more undergraduate women than men, the men have absolutely no incentive to step up their life game. So video games, porn, and drunkenness it is.

 

Argue with strangers on the Internet.

Write about Star Wars on the Internet.

Drink chocolate milk.

I'm not sure if simplistic idiot is the right term for men. I think men are more crude, which is why we enjoy things like football, MMA and boxing where men hit each other as hard as they can. We see things in more black and white terms, but I think men are more complex. But some things we just don't like to stop laughing at, like body functions, or oogle at, like women in lingerie playing football.

Now, cue up someone who referencing Ron Burgundy's I'm a man speech.

 

This is childish? Really? I do this routinely, as recently as yesterday.

And I have taken my red head into Wendy's like that, though not intentionally.
