More leaking intrigue--this leaked far in advance of decision, and counter-leaks now coming out:

It's an interesting question. I suspect we'd have a single-payer system by now, for my part. It's what I personally favor. Though if the health insurance market morphed into one where more people could feasibly go out and buy their own, I'd consider that a positive.

I remember reading this article. It discusses how health systems developed in several countries, including the employer provided system in the U.S.

A Facebook call for a Second Amendment remedy to "Obama Care."

I like Rep. West's proposal that the federal government should mandate that every adult exercise their right to own a gun. And if you opt not to own a gun the government will tax you.

    Finnish. Finnish.

I refuse to believe that's real. But, I tell myself pretty much everything I see on Facebook is some flavor of trolling.

Unfortunately, it's real. He's in the same LDS ward where my wife grew up and apparently has a Ph.D.

If Rep. West can get a majority of the country's representatives in the House and Senate to vote for it and get the President to sign it, it will be a constitutional law.

I'm betting Rep West doesn't have the votes to get the bill to the floor for a vote. and I'll double down that he can't a majority to vote for it.

Rep West can talk trash all he wants, he doesn't getting anything accomplished except get himself elected and wealthy

Maybe West can channel the Militia Acts of 1792.

I think West should get right up on the floor of the House brandishing a semiautomatic weapon. I am sure his 'base" would be very very excited by that imagery.
