...The newspaper also is looking for someone in the sports department who is skilled on multiple platforms and page design. The Morning Telegraph — a debt-free, financially sound family-owned daily with a stable circulation of about 30,000 — is an industry innovator and a fantastic, positive place to work, where ideas come from the ground up and become management's job to actualize. Tyler, a city of about 100,000 residents, is nestled in the scenic, piney woods of East Texas about 90 minutes east of Dallas. Recreational opportunities abound in and around this beautiful town. It's a great place to live, work and raise a family. Send cover letter, resume and work examples to Managing Editor Brian Pearson at 410 W. Erwin, Tyler, Texas, 75702 or bpearson@tylerpaper.com. Links to websites containing resume and work examples are acceptable.

I'm not really a fan of East Texas, but Tyler is actually a pretty nice place. This could be a really good job for someone.

I'm going to go ahead and disagree on "industry innovator."

I worked here for seven-plus years. Anyone can PM me for questions.

I know what the headline really said, but that is just too damn funny, esp. with the word Hemorroids in the ad. Bet someone caught hell over it, though.

Well, with ads and headlines like that, color me surprised.
