Gainesville Sun today has 1C story on Florida sweeping SEC All-Sports Awards. Three times in eight-paragraph story - in second graf, again before jump and third time - story references fact that all-sports awards are presented by Halifax Media Group. At no point does it mention that in January, Halifax Media Group bought the Gainesville Sun.

Alabama won national championships in football and gymnastics, and very well could in men's golf and softball. A little quick on the trigger, no?

I think it's based on conference standings in all sports.

Maybe by giving them the award, the Florida athletes had to agree to sign a non-compete.

Then UF football should have scored big since the Gators didn't compete at all last season :)
