Good point. Shit, with both Dwight Howard and Derrick Rose out, our Olympic team is looking a helluva lot more vulnerable this summer.

Get over it baby Chicago fans. Take a direct look east and see a much more cursed city in Cleveland. Until you suffer half of what that city has you can't even think about it. Also Cutler is a D. Bag so he had it coming. D. Rose is all about the fix in the NBA. Don't worry Bulls fans once the c(heat)ers win their title D. Stern has you inline for your next title.

I bet he will be back in 5-6 months because he is a supreme athlete and hard worker.

I just wanted to clarify that this idiot does not speak for any of the rest of us Cleveland fans.

Please explain how David Stern made Rose' knee blow out. Gotta hear this one.

He had one of the knees pre-iced so he knew which one to blow out.

Background information on ACL injury if you're interested. Written for a WebMD site:

    Doc,
What have been the advances over the last few decades that have made it easier for players recovering from ACL injuries? While they are still extremely serious, they aren't the death blows for a career that they might have been and guys can regain most of their form, although it seems an injury like this would affect a guy like Rose more than someone who isn't so explosive. Is it the surgery that has changed or changes in rehab?

ACL reconstruction now uses an arthroscope with better techniques and grafting. A generation aog, the operation of choice required a large incision to open the knee and manually do the repair. As well, physical therapy advances and better motivated athletes are better motivated work hours a day on their rehabilitation with muscle strengthening and range of motion. Prehab has made a difference as well with athletes working on having stronger quads and hamstrings before the surgery.

Spurs are too hot for anyone to beat this season.
Tough for Rose, for sure, but the Spurs looked fully recovered from last year's first-round exit.
Memphis does, though, lurk in the second round for San Antonio.
