Speaking of overrated players, Vancouver better bench Mason Raymond. He's been awful for a long time and not worth his $4+ million salary. No hands and all he can do is skate fast.

Regardless of whether Vancouver wins this game, or the series, it appears Cory Schneider is now their No. 1 goaltender. Fine. But I just can't imagine them keeping Roberto Luongo and his salary as a backup. Both are legit No. 1 goaltenders, but I don't see how they can afford them both in a salary cap league.

I suspect major changes will be forthcoming now in Vancouver.

I've seen some wide-ass open playoffs in my day, but this one has got to make the short list of most wide-ass open. It's got that Carolina-Edmonton feel about it.

And Ottawa may carry the Canadian flag into the next round.
