Fair point. They do make for great stories.

But on a super busy preps night close to deadline, idiotic phone calls aren't as entertaining.

no doubt...I got through the archives and its the football gamer, a football feature, a preview of the upcoming football game, a graphic detailing what the QB had for breakfast, etc.

Much more balance when you look at today's pages.

 

I had little Johnny's dad text me about how I don't know anything about the sport I was covering and that I should rewrite my story.

These texts, all 5 of them, came around 11:15 p.m. on Friday. Why are people so stupid and inconsiderate?

 

Sounds like Lil Johnny's dad might have been at the bar.
