I watched it on HBO rather than DVD, so I didn't see the alternate ending.
I've read about it, and it sounds like either one works.
Also, they talked about a third alternative that sounds fantastic, but they never shot it.

I'll refrain from details, since IJAG says she's watching it.

Saw "The Way Back" this weekend. Some guys escape from Siberia in the early 40's and end up walking......through Siberia, ...Mongolia, ...China, ...over the Himalayans....and into ........India. Mind-blowing. Not sure true.

Not true. It's based off book that's proven bullshit.

Regardless it's not a bad film.

I'm looking forward to the sequel, too, but you and I differ on the first one. I saw it twice and thought that was more than enough. It actually got a bit boring for me the second time around.

Just got back from "The Hangover II."

The plot is weak. It is the same exact story as the first one, except it is set in Thailand.

There aren't nearly as many quick one-liners as the first. Lots of over the top action and often you see the gags coming from a mile away. I'm sure the critics hate it.

I laughed my ass off from start to finish.

    Bingo. Same thoughts here.

Just got out of this movie and there were a ton of great, great moments but it is the exact same movie as the Hangover I. The exact same movie.

Still, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm off to see if monkeys have learned how to Skype.

Saw Scott Pilgrim on HBO tonight. Damn was it geeky.

But I'm a geek, so I really liked it.

Watched "The Road" last night. Really bleak, just like the book. Unfortunately, it was really boring, too, just like the book.

When I finished the book, I hated it, but I thought it had potential as a film. I was wrong.

I saw it as well yesterday, matinee style ! It had a lot of laughs. The opening 30 minutes or so were pretty funny.
