Interesting story, but he gets really geeky when he tries to square what happened in the movie versus what happened in real life, as well as trying to figure out Ferris' subsequent adventures in Chicago after the game.

It's called editing and artistic license, dude.

So were Chicago schools ahead of the curve with year-round schooling? Can't imagine school lasting until June otherwise.

Of course, the Von Steuben Day parade at which Ferris sang is typically the second week of September. So he really had several months to work in the Sears Tower and the art museum.

Ferris was a good movie. Would have been better if it was set in Detroit, though. That's a good town for an ass kicking.

 

What I've always wondered is how they were able to get expedited approval to put a personal wish on the water tower. Seems like a government-owned property would have involved a lot more red tape. Bribery at play? Start an investigation.
