The idea is that people should seek fulfillment within their marriage, not outside of it. And that pornography can damage real-life sexual relationships between married couples. Which research supports.

I don't understand why this is at all controversial.

Always good to hear from Jon Kitna, the Professional Christian.

Oh by the way, he's a great leader in the locker room. Ask him, he'll tell you.

Sounds like Pickett and Kitna are angling to become the celebrity spokesmen for Marriott.

The path of the self-righteous...well trod by Todd's sister-in-law.
This church's message...wives and husbands should not trust each other. That's just as corrosive as the deeds of the Kemps and Cromarties of the world.

Actually you couldn't be more wrong, it's trying to eliminate something that would interrupt that trust. It views porn as something that can drive a wedge between man and wife. It's promoting a healthy, faithful and trusting relationship between married couples. For the most part they are geared towards those already struggling with pornography. In this way the church is acting as a support group more than anything.

The solution is clearly to watch the porn with your wife. Then everyone is happy.
